  • 200 gms paneer cubed (approximately 3/4 inch cubes)
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 medium onion finely chopped
  • 2 green chilies chopped (adjust according to spice preference)
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/4 tsp garam masala powder
  • 1/4 cup chopped tomatoes optional
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh cilantro chopped, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a pan or skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the chopped onions and green chilies, sautéing them until softened and translucent.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and garam masala powder, cooking for 30 seconds to release the aromas.
  • If using, add chopped tomatoes and cook until they become mushy.
  • Add the cubed paneer and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring gently.
  • Season with salt and adjust the spice level to your preference.
  • Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot with roti, paratha, or naan.
